The two other new tracks on the single do not fail to amaze, either. ”Beauty Clown” is one of those strange and provocative German Electro Pop songs with which Steve Naghavi always manages to take the crowds by storm – a song that will rather inevitably lead to the one question: “why, for god’s sake, did England invent music?” After that, “Computer star” is revving the old engine up again a few beats to embark on a synthetic Road Movie … a delicate and fine thought, transferred straight from brain to computer. “Military Fashion Show” is And One in its purest form. Attempts at comparison are doomed to futility as this group has always been playing in a league of its own. Varsti uus singel tulekul:

After "Military Fashion Show" in May, And One plan to release a second new single soon thereafter. "So Klingt Liebe" ("This Is What Love Sounds Like" in German) hits stores in mid Summer, July 14.

The single comes in three versions called S, E and X, each one with the same radio and club versions, followed by one exclusive B-side and three live tracks per version. Among the live tracks we find "Recover You" and "Deutschmaschine".

"Military Fashion Show" was a catchy And One track with reused sounds and ideas, dating as far back as the early "Anguish" days.

"Bodypop 1 1/2" is the newest release from And One featuring a string of covers. According to singer Steve Naghavi the choice for this EP was made when he noticed that today's scene youth has no idea of the essential anthems from "our good, old musical heroes". As a result the band covered classics by Depeche Mode ("Never Let Me Down Again"), Front 242 ("Operating Tracks"), D.A.F ("Der Mussolini"), Nitzer Ebb ("I Give to You") and The Cure ("Kyoto Song"). The band also added two more live cover versions on top next to a bonus video clip for "Steine sind Steine". Released on Out Of Line and available from December 14th, 2007 on.

And One have never been prone to be satisfied with anything less than superlatives. But, as opposed to the empty phrases most politicians have to offer, the Electronic Body Pop band fronted by Steve Naghavi are sticking to their promises: the long planned and now finally completed double live DVD is the most comprehensive live experience ever to be released on this medium. 55 (!) live songs, recorded between 2004 and 2008 in Berlin , Hamburg and Hildesheim! All the hits, spanning their entire career, are included, plus lots of highly original cover versions of delightful tunes and the typical zaniness that accompanies any And One gig, including an always lively interaction with the audience. Add to that all the video clips the band has ever produced, a making of, plus a complete concert recording from 1989. Any questions? And for those of you who have always sported a profound dislike for moving images or who would just love to listen to the And One live experience on the road but would get distracted by watching the videos as well, there also will be a jam-packed live double CD with the best of the best. It also works in the kitchen, the bath tub or the CD player in the living room, of course. But who, for god’s sake, are Diana, Steffi, Julia, Mandy and Anke???
