ARTIFICIAL SOLDIER TOUR DVD can be confirmed to happen now, filming should start in 2 months. Will either be financed by a record label so one show can be filmed professionally with multiple cameras; or be done like Ministry's Sphinctour DVD - multiple (maybe 10) shows filmed by 1-3 cameras. Audio to be recorded by Greg Reely, final result would be a compilation of the recordings, multiple audio and video tracks are possible. In addition to the liveshows: interviews, backstage, soundchecks, documentations and much more are planned.

We are currently getting ready to film the FLA show in Dresden on Sunday 20.08.2006. 7 HD cameras and 24 track audio, not the worst setup. In addition to this I'll try to travel to Nürnberg the day after the Dresden gig and film more bonus footage (already got some of that in Rostock last Friday). The company we work with is www.rgkp.de

When I filmed the Interview with Christian Poeck (the director of the original LW show in 1995) he mentioned that he had some old Rhys Fulber Interview on tape somewhere. He found the tape and oops, it also had some unreleased Live Wired footage, among that the recording of Plasticity that he put up on youtube now. There is more than that, maybe its even a complete camera track. So there'll be a big portion of previously unreleased original 1995 footage on the DVD. For now I cant say exactly what it is and where I'll use it, but its up to 4 hours of footage, and I think I'll be able to add it to the original show so theres a bit more band performance and less FX.

The Artificial Soldier Tour DVD will not be out in 2006, we had a meeting today and we will take our time for the production, means our deadline for this baby is 31.12.2006 for postproduction. Then give the label 3 months for release preparation, so look foward to this baby in Spring 2007.

this is simply based on higher production costs.
so FLA > The Videos / Live Wired 2DVD couldnt be done with dossier.
BUT we could release the DVD
FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY > THE VIDEOS (1986-2006) DVD9 (120min) soon
and if that one runs well then we can also release the DVD
FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY > LIVE WIRED (version 3.0) DVD9 (120min) later
btw, this whole issue doesnt affect the FLA 2006 TOUR DVD project. postproduction starts next week.

In addition to that, The Videos DVD and Live Wired DVD are definitely separated now, and chanches that FLA > The Videos (1986-2006) will be finished at the end of the year are around 90%. Great progress lately, business- and sourcetape-wise.

.this dvd is currently on hold due to commitment to the tour dvd. this project was announced to 'probably come out soon' by myself way too early. it's still in the works and will feature up to 8 new unreleased FLA videoclips. contrary to other plans mentioned it will very prolly be released in package with the LIVE WIRED DVD.

Live Wired:
Status: This DVD is in the works. This will be released together with The Videos DVD as it seems. Live Wired was released in 1996 as Live 2CD and VHS Live Video, the video material on the DVD is a remastered and extended version of the material released in 1996. Previously unreleased bonus footage is also included.

Rhys Fulber is a Vancouver electronic musician and producer, and on-again-off-again member of Front Line Assembly and Delerium. From 1997 to 2002 Fulber did film scores, several Fear Factory releases and songs on Josh Groban's debut album. He worked on Delerium's Chimera in 2003, and completed Front Line Assembly's Civilization in 2004. He produced the Canadian hits for singer/songwriter Serena Ryder, the new Paradise Lost album, In Requiem and Mindless Self Indulgence's next album.

Serena Ryder, who is only in her mid-‘20s, has a deep, bluesy, soulful voice that has drawn comparisons to Janis Joplin and Aretha Franklin. Her first album, Falling Out, was released in 1999 on the Peterborough, Ontario indie label Mime Radio. In 2005, she released Unlikely Emergency, on Hawksley Workman’s Isadora label. Her latest studio album, on EMI, is 2006’s If Your Memory Serves You Well and is a collection of Canadian songs from the past century, including Leonard Cohen's "Sisters of Mercy," Galt MacDermot's "Good Morning Starshine" and The Band's "This Wheel's on Fire.”

Production of this DVD is on hold. Live Wired was released in 1996 on 2CD and VHS, the video material on the DVD is gonna be a remastered and extended version of the material released in 1996.
Problems: Releasing this DVD would require multiple thousands of euros licensing fees. Mindphaser video footage would require even more money to relicense. A project financeer is not available to date.
