New Order are to reform for 2 benefit concerts in October.
The band will consist of Sumner, Morris and Cunningham. Gillian Gilbert will also make her first live appearance for over 10 years, and Hooky's bass duties are being handed over to Tom Chapman (Bad Lieutenant bassplayer).
The gigs are to help long time friend Michael Shamberg, who produced all the band's early videos, and is currently very ill at home in New York.

The dates are:
17th October 2011- Ancienne Belgique - Brussels
18th October 2011 ' Le Bataclan - Paris

Following the release of ‘TOTAL: From Joy Division To New Order’ in early 2011 and the surprise success of “Lost Siren” track ‘Hellbent’, New Order are proud to announce the release of ‘The Lost Sirens’.

Featuring a truly eclectic mix of electronica and guitars in the way only New Order know how, ‘The Lost Sirens' features eight tracks which were recorded during the sessions for “Waiting For The Sirens Call” and are all previously unreleased. ‘Hellbent’ features on ‘The Lost Sirens’ in it’s original non-radio edit form (as per TOTAL) and ‘I Told You So’ is a previously unreleased mix.
