Anton is once again the responsible party for all things sleeve-ish on the upcoming Mode releases, the tall dutchman confirmed during a recent visit to Italy. Work is already under way, and is inspired by the yet-to-be-released songs. Anton also let slip that he expects to be involved with the design of the stage, but that this is not yet set in stone!

German promoter once again let details slip of the upcoming Mode tour. This time in a posting on their official site, where it’s casually mentioned that tickets for Depeche Mode’s mid-2009 tour should go on sale in October 2008. Read on for more…

Marek Lieberberg, Depeche Mode’s concert promoter in Germany, posted today a notice on their official website warning fans against black market tickets being sold at horrendous prices, despite the tour not even having been announced yet. While true, not all that interesting. Far more interesting was the final few lines of the notice:
“Falls die Tournee Mitte 2009 bestätigt wird, sollte der Vorverkauf im Oktober 2008 starten.”

Translated:
“If the tour take place in the middle of 2009, the presale of tickets should start in October 2008″.

Nice try there, throwing in an “if”, but we’re not that easily fooled. This is, of course, official confirmation that the tickets are being released in October!

While Depeche-Mode.com informs that the German promoter Marek Lieberberg has announced the presales for Depeche Mode's mid-2009 tour to go on sale in October 2008, the first so called 'fake' tickets have already started to pop up on the internet.

That is if you consider pre-sales to be fake of course... Several outlets (especially the more expensive third party resellers) are already offering Depeche Mode tickes for sale although there are no official dates known. If these are fake is yet to be seen. The dates we received corresponded with the info we received so far as well except for a double date set on June 11th. (siin kusagil teemas sai seda korra arutatud ka juba..)

It was also Marek Lieberberg who confirmed www.depechemode.de that the tour would probably start in Israel in May 2009.

Depeche Mode press conference confirmed

Depeche Mode will be in Berlin on October 6th to announce the details for their upcoming 2009 tour. The event will be held at Berlin’s Olympiastadion, and is hosted by the band’s german concert promoter, Marek Lieberberg.

People who are in the area around that date should head over to www.depechemode.de for details on how you could gain access to the event. Their raffle isn’t up yet, but they are expecting to be giving away a few hundred tickets to lucky fans.

Nädal on veel tuuri ametliku väljakuulutamiseni aega, aga austerlaste kodulehel on Euroopa-osa nimekiri juba väljas. Nimekiri on muidugi mitteametlik ja ei pruugi olla lõplik (siin vaid Euroopa osa), aga ilmselt on siiski tegu pädeva infoga.

Selle järgi tuleb Eesti fännidel kodukontserdist seekord suu puhtaks pühkida.. Hiljuti oli telekast näha ka et BDG Rebane ähvardas kõik kontserdid piletite km tõusuga seoses (säästueelarve!) ära jätta ja paistab, et nii lähebki siis. Lähim paik selle järgi meil siis Riia.
Märkisin tumeda kirjaga ära veel mõned kohad mida heameelega seoses DM-ga hea külastaks. Iseasi kuipalju sellest muidugi teoks jõuab teha ja eks see sõltub ka sellest kas leidub veel huvilisi.

Moskva oleks kindlasti üks põnev sihtkoht, eriti sellepärast, et seal on üks täitsa oma poiss kes oleks valmis meile moskva-dm-maailmas teejuhiks olema, sobivate ööbimiskohtade ja transpordiga seoses nõustama jne. Suvel vähemalt sai nii räägitud.
