Morrissey to compose song for UK Eurovision Song Contest entry

Morrissey, never afraid to pull the media a leg, has told NME he wants to compose a song for Eurovision after the UK did not win this year's contest. To refresh your memories, the 2006 competition was wun by Finland's Lordi. Britain finished on the 19th spot out of 24 countries. Morrissey, clearly in a joking mood, told the rag he wondered why he was not considered for the UK's entry. In the meantime some other media report that the former Smiths singer is already in talks with the BBC about writing the UK entry for the 2007
